PMAG Committees are dedicated to carrying out the PMAG Mission and Vision.
Credentials Committee The Credentials Committee reviews incoming PMAG applications and recommends the highest quality, most qualified physicians for membership approval. Education Committee The Education Committee recommends programs and resources to educate PMAG members on payment reform, best practices and changes in Hawaii’s health care landscape. Finance Committee The Finance Committee reviews financial statements to ensure PMAG is on budget and addresses any financial matters as directed by the BOD. Information Technology Committee The IT Committee is dedicated to serving the technology needs of PMAG by recommending resources and tools to educate member physicians on various IT topics.
Networking Committee The Networking Committee is responsible for recruiting new membership and ensuring PMAG remains an organization comprised of high caliber physicians of diversified specialties and backgrounds. Quality Improvement Committee The Quality Improvement Committee works with other committees to promote and support the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program. Utilization Management Committee The Utilization Management Committee promotes cost-effective care by guiding Pacific Health Care patient care to in-network providers in HMSA’s managed care plan, Health Plan Hawaii.
