Growing up on Kaua’i, Kellie was drawn to volunteer opportunities focusing on education and health care, eventually leading to a career in medicine. After graduating from Kauaʻi High School and University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa, she attended John A. Burns School of Medicine. With a deep appreciation for Rainier cherries, she moved to Washington state to complete Family Medicine Residency at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. A new feline friend was found in Washington and returned with Kellie to pursue Geriatric Fellowship at University of Hawai’i. Following a two year fellowship, she started working at Kuakini Primary Care Clinic as a primary care physician. With the support of the fellowship and Kuakini, Kellie is ready to transition to independent practice and continue providing geriatric focused primary care to the community.
